Re: DCF77 radio clock receiver for Ice Tube and Monochron

Latest version of MultiChron has GPS baked in. I know, I wrote it! Pretty much just hook up rx. You should be able to modify that pretty easily. And small correction, Yes Rx and TX are wired, But only TX is really needed to output messages. When debugging is disabled, there's no output on TX. You co...

Re: MONOCHRON PEW-PEW-PEW

Ok, CaitSith is a serious code masochist. He's busy on another project right now. When he come up for air, we'll have to see if we can jam code into MultiChron. Sorry about the bad url, I was jamming kinda fast. Glad you found our repository. Yes, floating point is very very costly in tiny CPUs. If ...

Re: MONOCHRON PEW-PEW-PEW

Share your code and I'll help you port it to Pew3Chron!
Take a look at our work at http://github.com/caitsith2/MultiChron

Basically, you'd add a new module, anin_pew3.c
You'd need to code init, display, and step
It's pretty easy.
Take a look at anim_ts or anim_int

Re: MultiChron for MonoChron!

Yes, That's the point of the B version. DeathChron is pretty big on its own. So it's kind of a Best Of Mix. DeathChron, GPS, and RattChron only. (See the ReadMe) The mainline version contains all 4 original clocks. Plus the new TimesSquareChron. Look at RATT.H You're free to create a mix of whatever...

Whew! Got through testing and documention on MultiChron 1.1. Added some batch files and read me's. CaitSith will post a final compile sometime later today. Re: MultiChron for MonoChron!

It always has been on GitHub since the begining.
Every rev, every change.
You can trace its roots directly from MonoChron,
Or jump directly to the project at http://GitHub.Com/CaitSith2/MultiChron

Re: MultiChron for MonoChron!

Hmmmm,
I'll look into that.
An easily corrected bug.
More of a style issue,
But according to wikipedia,
The common 9 glyph does have 3 horizontals.

MonoChron v1.1 Progress Report

Wow, can you believe it? Almost 2 months of working on MultiChron and how far we've come. First, we got all 4 clocks combined into one source. Added Random and Rotate functionality. And left lots of room for more in Version 1.1 CaitSith is a debugging Jedi! I churned out some buggy GPS code that Cai...

Re: MultiChron for MonoChron!

Technically speaking, If you loaded over USB, you probably didn't replace the boot code. And the boot code is fairly generic anyhow. Except for some minor differences, they all work about the same. (Lady A did some wonderful work to improve the way that arduino loaded programs after a reset.) Anyhow...

Re: MultiChron for MonoChron!

I'm working on the GPS module for MultiChron V2. You'll need a GPS Module. I'm going with the EM-406A GPS Module because it's low power, and that's what I have. (Lady A sells it, almost as expensive as the clock!) It's going to be pretty simple, Firmeware Update, Plug it into the ISP port, Configure...

Re: Monochron GPS Time Mod

We're working on it as a MultiChron Reloaded (Rev 2) enhancement. The problem is the CPU is already running serial to the DS1307 timekeeper chip, Trying to figure out how to best cheaply and simply do a second a second serial for the GPS. Have already hacked out the configuration and test dialog, ju...
