Rick,

Thanks!!

Also you may want to tell them that the PDF download link does not work on that tutorial either.

Happy WiFing!

I am not Adafruit staff - I am a customer, but I think your request will get seen.

Ahhh, well thank you Very Much for your help on this. :) I would not have seen it otherwise.

It is much appreciated!

Re: Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500 Compilation Err

That did the trick!

I should have known better, and thought to myself, "That doesn't sound right", but it was in the tutorial so I went with it.

Now I can play with em!

Cheers,

Re: Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500 Compilation Err

Doh! Thank you for telling me. :) Could you ask someone to update the tutorial for these M0 WiFi ATWINC1500s? (URL: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-feather-m0-wifi-atwinc1500/using-with-arduino-ide) Currently at the top of the page entitled, "Using With Arduino IDE", the first paragrap...

Re: Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500 Compilation Err

Adafruit, My attempts have thus far failed on Arduino AVR 1.6.5.. I tested many combinations of the libraries, but it boils down to just the difference between the Arduino AVR Boards version as the results below show: -> With: Arduino 1.6.5 Arduino AVR Boards 1.6.8 Arduino SAM Boards 1.6.5 (or 1.6.6...

Re: Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500 Compilation Err

Hmmm damn, I'm still striking out here, but will keep trying until I find a combination of Arduino software, Arduino AVR libraries and any others at the right vertsions - I have two of these cool little Feather Wifi boards and am anxious to get them singing. :) Using Arduino 1.6.7 (just did fresh in...

Re: Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500 Compilation Err

Thank you very much for the reply! I updated all of my libraries and reloaded the AVR. I get a strange error now: "avr-gcc: error: C:\Users\Miax\AppData\Local\Temp\build2390719487139651812.tmp/core.a: No such file or directory Error compiling." This sounds like something directory-related,...

Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500 Compilation Errors

Howdy! I just received a pair of the Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi with ATWINC1500's, and have immediately run into a compilation issue that I would welcome help and input on.. I have Arduino AVR version 1.6.5, and followed Lada Ada's tutorial on Learn for these boards. I can upload the Blink script usin...

Re: Using Many VNCL4010 Breakouts Together

You might want to look at decentralizing the control system. Instead of using a single microcontroller for everything, use several small ones dedicated to safety in given zones. Let those override the motor power if they sense an error condition. Like it! Very good suggestion, I will take this advi...

Re: Using Many VNCL4010 Breakouts Together

Mike, Thanks for the reply! I appreciate the input. :) I will continue to search for solutions - it may be simpler not to use the multiplexer and instead use the voltage-out or interrupt pins on each 4010, and pipe that into several CMOS logical OR IC's, then directly into analog pins on either the ...

Using Many VNCL4010 Breakouts Together

Adafruit, Howdy!! I have a need to use literally dozens of the VNCL4010 Breakout Boards together in my robotic CNC machine, and my challenge is the best way in which I can interface with them all. The breakout specs indicate that I2C is the preferred method, but is itself locked at one I2C address (...

Re: How to convert a string to a number

Thanks for the replys! :) Unfortunately real-life took alot more of my time last year than in previous years, and I didn't really get alot of "Making" done in Q3/Q4 2012 and the first part of this year. Since then I've fallen in love with Robotics, and have had to weigh the pro's and con's...

Adafruit 16 Channel Servo Driver @7.4Volts?

Adafruit, I have been working on a robot project, a FLORA project and RiderScan for many months now, with work really kicking my butt in the 2nd half of 2012. Fortunately this all changes after Sunday, and I won't have to work the crazy hours anymore - which means I get my Maker Life back!! :) That ...
