TSL2561 luminosity sensor

Post by ottoberge »

Can you provide a schematic of the TSL2561 breakout board, including size and location of components? Thanks.

The board files are here (Eagle format): https://github.com/adafruit/TSL2561-breakout-board-PCB

Is it possible to supply them as a pdf or solid works file? I'm not familiar with Eagle format. Thanks.

Eagle is a free downlod: http://www.cadsoftusa.com/download-eagle/
Once installed, just double-click on the .sch or .brd file to view.

Thanks, for the information. I tried that however, it only provides a 2d image. I tried exporting the .brd as .dxf too, then import into solidworks. Unfortunately this only successfully imports a 2d image of the board. Is there anyway to convert these files to a 3d for import in to solidworks?

These are the exact files that we use for board production. Our process does not require a 3D model of the finished boards, but you are welcome to use this data and expand on it as needed.
