powering a Lipro charge controller by a hand cranked generator

Post by joel neumann »

Knowlegable Electronic Eng.
after reading the information on the Lipro battery charge controller ca the charge controller be used for a hand cranked generator. It seems to fallow the same format in that the generator may fluxuate in voltage output but will provide a sum what steady output.

Hi Joel,
As long as you don't let the input voltage go over 6-V,
It should work great.
It will take a lot of cranking though.

Good luck, John
