Hi there !
I would like to know :
1) If you have Velostat with different thicknesses. I bought two time and I received different thicknesses.. If you have more than two please let me know how specify always the same thicknesses.
2) Which is the best electrical conductive adhesive to glue Velostat to copper foil.
Thank you very much
Velostat

Re: Velostat
We can't make any promise of uniformity WRT Velostat.
It's officially a packing material, and using it to make force-sensitive resistors the way we do is completely outside its specs. Even as a packing material, its tolerances are pretty wide. There isn't much of a market for precision bubble-wrap.
We also don't have any suggestions about a conductive glue for Velostat because we've never tried building sensors that way. Our wearables expert Becky uses conductive thread under a layer of adhesive tape, but a length of stranded wire with the insulation pulled off works too.
The three main features of Velostat sensors are:
- Cheap
- Simple
- Easy to make
Precision, uniformity, and repeatability aren't anywhere on the list though.
If you want something better behaved, take a look at the Sensor Film kits:
