Hi,
are there significant differences except 8 vs 12 sensors?
Cap1188 was not too complicated to get jt work on Raspi and one can try the functions of the registers step by step thanks to damned good data sheet.
Do we have a similiar idea or even improvements onMPR121 ?
Thanks for reply and experience with that pieces - for me cap1188 is a fine makey makey.

I'd be interested in the answer too since they are similar in price and why not get the 12 for the same price even if I only need 8 for now. It gives me room to grow.
It seems that the MPR121 doesn't support SPI (only I2C)
