Hello, I am currently working on the neogeo watch project (https://learn.adafruit.com/flora-geo-wa ... it-diagram), and I am at the end of the stage of just entering the codes in. Everything seems to work (passed all the compass test, GPS test, neopixel test).
But I've been noticing that the compass module (LSM303) has been overheating everytime it was powered on (within 5 seconds, gets burning hot).
Would anyone know what the problem is??

Re: LSM303 Overheating
Is this a stray blob of solder causing a short-circuit?

Re: LSM303 Overheating
Thank you for the reply! I checked what the blob is and is a left over piece of e6000 adhesive. I took it off and checked for any other marks or left over solder but everything else was clean. But when I power it on, it still overheats..
Will try to desolder and solder again but would there be anything else that might be causing the problem? Or could it mean the piece is defective?

Re: LSM303 Overheating
Sounds like the module is defective. Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread for a replacement LSM303
