Hello all, im new to the forum and very interested in learning arduino. I've searched the net the past couple days and from what i can see, this is the best all around site... For that, i thank you Ladyada.

I've always been interested in electronics. When i was younger, my brother and I would take apart almost anything electronic we could get our hands on. I took two years of electronics in high school, but all i really gained was soldering skills and some component identification. Recently I looked into programming android apps, and kind of lost interest. I bought the HTC G1 for $40 from someone at work and was kinda stoked about learning it, but the phone is sitting next to my computer as i type this... I like to see the hardware side of things, instead of the software side. Always enjoyed hands on projects, putting something together or fixing something to see an amazing end result... which makes arduino perfect for me. So where i guess i'm goin with this is i'm glad i found this site and arduino is all i'm askin for, for christmas.
