RFEs for cart and wishlist, no doubt redundant

Post by psmay »

While gawking at the store this morning, these omissions from the cart system became painfully apparent. Take or leave them, but I think they'd be nice additions.
  • An item in the cart or the wishlist does not link back to its product page, making it awkward to try to review the item's information (or add a wishlist item to the cart, or vice versa). Probably the most glaring. Hopefully the easiest to fix.
  • An item on a catalog list page has no "Add to Wishlist" button (e.g. beside the present "Add to Cart" button); it is necessary to open the product's own page to add it to the wishlist.
  • An item in the cart has no "Add to Wishlist" (an item in the wishlist has "Add to Cart").
  • The cart has no "Add All Items To Wishlist" (the wishlist has "Add All Items To Cart").
    • Anywhere "Add All Items To *" might appear should instead (or additionally) have an "Add Selected/Checked To *" button/dropdown menu and a "Select/Check All".
  • An "Update" button on the wishlist can only update the quantity on one row (the cart also has an "Update Cart" button for the whole cart).
  • There is no way to send a permalink to my updated wishlist; sending the list currently involves sending the entirety of its contents as of the time sent.
These have probably already been brought up, but I figured another 'yes' vote couldn't hurt.

As for the products themselves, you're still very much a class act. :-)

Just noted that the image beside the row of the cart/wishlist has this link. Would be nice to have it on the text as well.

I'll pass the feedback along to the web team. Thanks!
