Hi Adafruit,
I have been doing some research with the Adafruit CC3000 wifi module and it has been working fine. Recently I designed my own PCB and purchased a CC3000 IC from Digi-Key, but it comes with a relatively old firmware version and some of the bugs are not handled properly in such version. I tried upgrading the firmware but TI only provides codes that work with their own MCU. I would love to know if there is a way I can get the newest updated version of the CC3000 IC.
Regards,
Kam

Re: CC3000 IC
TI has upgrade code, you can use any MSP430 to load in new firmware - that's the best/guaranteed way to do it.
