"My Account" has correct info, "Forum" does not.

Hi, I've changed-back my real name, and user name, to what it was earlier, and it shows correct in the "My Account" section, but still shows the old entries in the forum page. (Login Name and real name)

Does it take a while to reset on the forum section, or is it stuck, and needs moderators attention to fix?

It may have corrected itself when I logged off, and back in, with the new info...I'll let you know.

It seems just the top of that page shows the change (my real name logged in), but the posts still have not used the new user-name (posting as).

Maybe that needs moderator attention to fix.

you created multiple accounts - you registered with "Bye bye" "losers" for your one account for first name and last name for the forums, username is "NotYourTeacher".

for the other email address associated with your purchase your username is "Time_Lord"

Yes, I know, but when I last changed the info, it changed on the forum too, now it's not changing back.

So, two accounts have been created because of this?

I tried logging in with the new "Time_Lord" name but it still posts with the "NotYourTeacher" name :)

Looks like they're twisted together...it's still listing the old name in my posts.

If you think that's the easiest way to solve it OK.

Will it allow me to use the original email (.net) address, and the latest Time_Lord name, or will it say it's been used?

Plus...can you edit-out my partial email addresses in your next to last post, above?
I'd rather not have any of that info public.

the forum account with your .com address is deleted (NotYourTeacher) - please log in with your .net forum account, you should be able to post as "Time_Lord" now.

Thanks, I'm in it now.

I noticed when I go to the "My Account" section, and choose "Past Orders" not only are no past orders showing, I still see my last "Bye Bye..." - "Real" name showing on the page upper right area, where my real real-name was showing in the "My Account" page, before.

I'll try clearing my browser cache when I log-out later...maybe there's a remnant still lurking in it. :)
Unless you can check if there's still some remnant of it on you computers.

Is it possible to see my order listings from this account now?
Or is it, I should have created this account at the time of purchase for that option to show?

correct, you needed to create the account at the time of purchase for that option to show. you placed an order using a guest account (not registering). going forward, log in to your account before you place an order and any new orders will be listed in your order history. guest account orders cannot be added to registered account orders.

I think I really messed up your data base.

As long as I stay within the forum, my actual name shows on the page-top,
but if I go anywhere else, I see the old name. :)



Same thing if I go to the My Accounts area.

I tried clearing my cache on the browser, but it didn't change when logging back again.

you chose "Bye Bye" "losers" as the name for your account when you registered, we can delete the remaining account and you can start over if you'd like.

That was actually what I changed it into with the other user-name NotYourTeacher
I originally created the account with my proper real names...with user name as Newbie001
But it's OK if it's like this :)

If it's not going to affect my future purchase history viewing, ... it can stay.

It shows my correct name and email address in the profile section of "My Account" is that enough? :)

If so, ...leave it as is.

we'll leave as is. make sure you're logged in before making a purchase to have purchases show up in your order history.
