Shopping Cart Covered by Footer

Post by cdunham »

In Google Chrome, I try to complete an order, and it is very difficult! Half the screen is covered by the footer, so I have to guess what the fields are underneath. Screenshots attached.

One way to get around it and complete checkout:

I'll pass that along to the web team.

Thanks for letting us know.

You may want to try reducing the zoom on your browser, and up-ing your resolution on your monitor.
I think that may be the issue...

I use Chrome on win7 and I had to switch to Internet Explorer to order one time. I have similar problems with overlays on other sites so I didn't mention it here. The "zoom in" fixed it for me. The weird thing is I zoom back to 100% and it still works. Thanks. I messed with Chrome's ability to change selected sites to old HTML comparability and that had no affect. I wondered if it had something to do with video drivers for the built in video of my Core I7 Intel CPU. The driver sets the resolution to match my screen.

It's a laptop, so I'm already straining its limits, but thanks for the zoom suggestion! :-)

Looks like a pretty easy HTML/CSS fix. See the third screen shot for the simple workaround I used to get the order in...

Thank you, I wondered what the source looked like. I may try the "examine element" on other sites where Chrome has trouble, now. In my opinion, it still seems Chrome is the culprit, since Explorer works.
