I recently purchased an RPi2 and a 2.8" TFT touch screen (item 1601). Of course I didn't read the technical notes on the screen before buying it, and I therefore didn't read that it's not for RPi2. May I return it? Do you have a small touchscreen for the RPi2?
Thanks,
DN

That screen does not have drivers for the Pi2 but should work when they are finalized. You can wait until the drivers come out or return it and wait until the drivers come out and the product is listed as working with the Pi2. Contact [email protected] with a link to this thread if you wish to return it and they will assist you

I don't mind waiting if the expectation is that the drivers will be available in the not-too-distant future. Is there a small touchscreen (with RPi2 drivers) available now?

Re: How to return a mis-ordered part
I used to work for Microsoft. Everything they released to manufacturing was beta (imho) so I'm used to it. Thank you. I'll give it a try.
BTW - compliment for all of you at Adafruit.....you guys really rock. Great products!

You might try the recently released beta drivers. https://blog.adafruit.com/2015/03/09/ne ... ry-it-out/

Thank you again.
Last question...would it be correct to assume that pin 1 on the touchscreen header connects to pin 1 on the P2 header?

You mean the GPIO header? Yes.DarrylN wrote:Thank you again.

The P2 header is something else entirely

I had meant to type RPi2 header (the GPIO header). OK. I will try it out today. Thanks again.
