I received my new RPi 2 yesterday along with the 3.5" TFT Touchscreen and found out the Pi does not power on.
When the power supply is plugged into the Micro-USB the part circled below becomes very hot to the touch. I was able to identify the part using your "Introduction to Raspberry Pi B+" post as a 1A-max dual step down converter (Part number RT8020AGQW). The only device connected to the Pi was the 3.5" TFT display I had ordered along with it. I've tested the display on another Pi and it works just fine.
How do I go about receiving a replacement Pi 2?
