Miniature WiFi Dongle Issues

Hi guys, I purchased a Miniature WiFi (8-2.11b/g/n) Module for raspberry pi and more, my third one.
Got it last month on invoice #787803. This one gets warm and has unreliable connectivity and speed.
I have it running on a new Rpi2 that came at the same time. Getting updates was unusually long, or any network activity for that matter.
I tried a known working dongle and things started working normally. I think I just need an exchange on this one.
