I received my package today , and i noticed that the 1st accelerometer had black part and the other doesn't, it's just for cosmetic value right?

Re: is this normal ?
These are assembled on a large sheet in our pick-an-place machine, then snapped apart. It looks like a couple of the joining tabs just didn't get snapped off. These are not functional parts of the board. You can just snap them off if they are in the way.

Re: is this normal ?
We have a plain A/Micro B cable: https://www.adafruit.com/products/592
But if you have one for your phone, it will probably work with the Flora as well.
