Keyspan Problem
Can anyone help me troubleshoot? I can't seem to get my Mac to find my Keyspan adapter in Terminal.

Re: Keyspan Problem
Code: Select all
ls /dev/cu.*
***EDIT***what i meant was, the space between ls and /dev/cu.* is meaningful.

Re: Keyspan Problem
Yes and Yes to both posts. I am able to get a good list of ports on my mac. Everything seems to be working. The mini blinks like it is accepting the code but it always comes back with;
avrdude: AVR device not responding
avrdude: initialization failed, rc=-1
Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
this check.
avrdude done. Thank you.
Connections are great, I tried changing the delay all over the place. still nothing. I would really like to exonerate the keyspan before buying another adapter. I dont have a serial port on my PC.
I did update to the most recent driver from keyspan too.

Re: Keyspan Problem
I have the Keyspan 19H adapter and I had no trouble finding the USB adapter device in the Terminal window.
The following input:
ls /dev/cu.*
gave me the output:
MacBook-Pro:~ Metalicious$ ls /dev/cu.*
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-Modem /dev/cu.KeySerial1
/dev/cu.Bluetooth-PDA-Sync /dev/cu.USA19H1a2P1.1
MacBook-Pro:~ Metalicious$
Money!
(I'm running keyspan driver version 2.5 within OS X 10.5.7 on an Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro.)

Re: Keyspan Problem
