The standard miniPOV firmware just repeats the image display continuously. With some programming changes, you can use a sensor to trigger the start of the display. For example, the SpokePOV uses a hall-effect sensor & magnet to trigger the start of the display at the same point of each wheel rotation.

Couple questions:

Tactile Alternating Button w/3 Wire Leads(id: 1685)--is this item water
resistant?

PIR Sensor (id: 189)--is there a built-in visual indicator that indicates a
violation when the PIR senses movement?

It is not sealed against water.

There is no indicator led on the board.
