So I've decided to build the MiniPOV, as well as Mitch's brainwave kit, but I'm building it without a kit, and hopefully - except for one part - completely surface mount... My question is regarding the ATTiny on the MiniPOV, which doesn't seem to have the connections for an AVRISP programmer, and as I have a programmer, but don't want to use a USB to Serial converter, I am curious which pins on the Tiny23 are intended to be connected to the AVR programmer pins. Obviously, RESET, SCK, VCC, and GND are covered, but MISO and MOSI pins don't seem to be on the ATTiny23... I think MISO is DI and MOSI is DO... but I want to be sure before I wire it up.
As far as you guys know, is there any issue with using Atmel Studio and an AVR programmer instead of the serial port?
Can I replace the serial port with AVRISP pins?

MISO would be DO and MOSI would be DI
