Hey All,
Got my MiniPov all together.
I am running Windows 7, 64bit.
USB
But, it runs some .png files fine.
simple ones. (Attached)
But, when I upload a more colorful one, it will upload fine, it says it is done.
But, when I turn on the MiniPov the lights will flash some colors, then it stops.
It only does it on the more complex .pngs.
I even tried the ones supplied with the MiniPOV converter, and having troubles with them.
But, if I make a simple two color picture, that seems to work fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: MiniPov will not work with more complex .pngs!
I just tried all the supplied .png files in the MiniPov converter.
None of them worked.
They all seem to download fine, but when I go to run them, the lights blink and it quits.
I believe when I first loaded the test file in the tutorial it worked fine.
Now, nothing very complicated will work.
I am stumped.

Well, this is going to sound strange.
But, I loaded the test file from the MIniPOV converter.
It loaded fine.
But, when I turned on the MIniPov, the LEDs blinked and then stopped.
I had to turn it on and off about 4 times then it finally worked on the test one.
I am going to try some more, buy turning it off and on a few time.

Well, I got them to work.
Seems, I have to turn my MiniPov on and off about 4 or 5 times.
Turn on, wait for leds to flash, turn off, etc...
Any ideas?

You shouldn't have to do that. Could you post clear pictures of both sides of your board showing any soldering you have done and the connections to it? It may need to be replaced.

Sure...
Thanks for the quick reply..
Give me a minute.
I did put the sticky tape to the back of the board, but I will see if I can peel it off.

Again, thanks for the quick reply.
When I took the pictures of the board, I noticed the negative battery lead was not a real good connection,
I re-soldered, and now it seems to be working fine.
I can upload any file and it seems to work!
Yippee!
Thanks all!
