suggestion for SpokePov

Post by regisma »

Hi,

I like your project!

May I suggest the following?

if you can add besides the currents LEDS the following:

One Red, One Green, One Blue, One White you can make Animations in Colors!!!

So that will be 4 Leds per row!

Thanks

Reg

hi

In this case, is better use a RBG led than 3/4 leds per row :D

Another alternative would be to use SMT RGB LEDs, foot print is a little smaller than T1 3/4 type and height is lower which would prevent fouling on some wheels.

Or for simplicity, used T1 3/4 auto colour changing type LEDs, be careful of the source of manufacturer as cheaper types do not have consitant colour change rates.

right now the kit is unicolor because its much cheaper and simpler. other people are encouraged to make multicolor designs: its just that it would be too expensive to sell, in my opinion.
