Hello,
i just built my adjustable power supply according to the official tutorial (http://www.ladyada.net/library/equipt/diypsupp.html), using a 5k Potentiometer.
I used the components like in the description and everything is working fine. Output VDC reaches from 1,23VDC to 7,52VDC. The problem is, i cant set the Output-Voltage very exactly, because adjusting the potentiometer is too sensitive, very small movements are causing a voltage output difference from about 1VDC, i tried to set 2VDC for over 2h, but its too sensitive to set it exact to this voltage.
Any ideas what i can do?

You can try a different potentiometer. One with a thumbwheel or a large knob will make it easier to make fine adjustments.

Re: Adjustable Power Supply - Unable to set output vdc
Thank you very much. That was also my solution as im just a electronic beginner. In the end (after replacing the pot and after building the whole! xoxbox) i found out, that i was wrong with the placement, put the output on the wrong side of c1. Thats a good way to learn schematics :)
