That looks great Amanita! Even if the colours are not my first choice
So.. deliberate mistake.. Down & Up labelling on the front panel per chance? I'd be pissed too after all that hard work! Still, I'd bet that with a little ingenuity, you could rejig the wiring/tracks on the PCB to swap the 2 buttons functions over. I think that would be easier than having a new front panel made up, or the existing one corrected

Yep - thats it! I really should have checked my drawings better.....
After much contemplation of ways to put this right (i agree a bit of track cutting for the LEDs and tact switches would do it) i decided i cant be bothered - its only me using it and its a PITA to take to bits.

x0xb0x 230 is alive (after a prolonged period of hiding in a cupboard half finished).

I've totally forgotten what most of the mods do - bass boost is there and some resonance increase, can't remember the others.
Check out my cool grubby finger marks on the face plate :D

Awesome!
do you think about to sell this PCBs or something like a kit?
I'm thinking about re-manufacturing those 303 plastic enclosures ;)

 You are on a roll with this stuff! Although there is that guy that makes billet(?) aluminium replacement 303 cases already. Then again, the original plastic cases still manage to look better, in my opinion. The aluminium ones I saw were anodised in wild colours.

great job ripe, i guess the only drawback here is that you need a 303 case

@phono
Also a 606 case can be used..
And I've seen fake plastic 303 cases before.. I think technology transplant has something to do with that.

What I'm really wondering about is HOW the sequencer works on that thing.
Because, well... It looks like a 303 and all.. not like a x0x.. So there's different leds/buttons/functionality

I was really stunned after seeing those pics... Like.. "someone finally did it right" feeling.
put me on the list for 5 of those ;)

Hi,
Not finished at all, but not far away. Still sounds very impressiv. The housing is made from a lasercut sheet metal and some wood. Taking me some hours to find nice knobs for the Box.
The rare parts I got from australia, thanks a lot!
