see if you can isolate when it happens

It happens when the resonance is up high, if that's what your asking.

I tried reflowing the solder again, but it didn't fix it??
I'm perplexed as to why it fixed it temporarily before.

ive never completely isolated the cause of the warble
i think someone posted that q22 was the culprit for theirs
there are a few long threads on the topic

The voltages on my q22 looked correct. Could the chip still be bad?

i rechecked the old thread

and it was actually q21

i cant guarantee that its actually the problem
almost every filter warble issue that people have solved
was caused by a different device

is ic23 getting hot at all
what is the voltage drop across r1

that thread says the 2sc2291 caused it, which is q22.

I replaced q21 with a spare I had. It didn't change anything.

ic23 does not get hot.
voltage across r1 is 1.22V

well its probably not a powersupply problem then

you can try replacing q22
its about all i can think of at the moment
