Re: Midi in not working?
hi,
MIDI IN is not working but MIDI OUT works fine?
did you have checked this in various modi? I mean, is it just a problem with MIDI sync or is MIDI Play also not working?
did you have choosen the proper MIDI channel before?
you should check the solder joints of your MIDI IN jack, orientation and function of D48, proper seat and solder joints of IC24, that Q50 is the right type and in proper orientation and also C205. (you should have around 5V at PIN5 on IC24)
please check this first and report back.
can you still use the MIDI THRU jack as an MIDI IN?
cheers

Re: Midi in not working?
Hi, I can see this is an old post but hopefully you can help as this sounds similar to my issue.
I've just finished my first build and all working well except the midi-in only works on the midi-thru socket. I can live with it but if it's an easy fix I'll do it.... Any ideas?

Try changing R16 to 120 or 150 ohm.
