As part of my general x0xb0x work i am replacing the dodgy jumper cales with connectable versions. i have the bcbcx I/O mod fitted which includes a shielded cable to reduce noise in BA6110 - "connect the single conductor from this new wire to pin 3 of IC15 and the shield to pin 2 of IC15" - like this:
only problem is when desoldering the old cable (which had snapped anyway) I realised that the trace between the pin2s got lifted. i manged to resolder the new cable and its picked up/attached to the trace so it seems complete, but not sure how sturdy it would be.
am i ok to just run a jumper between these two pins on the bottom of the PCB? that should do the same thing as far as i can tell
