Just a 60Hz hum

Post by pierrelel »

Hi, I'm desperate, in all honesty I'm about to give up. I had sound before, although the tuning was way off, but I now have a way bigger problem. Nothing works now, when I plug it, I hear a hum through the headphone, nothing through the mix. About 3/4 of the less are lit and I can't do anything, no changing mode buttons don't light any less, nothing, just that hum.

start measuring voltages.. begin with the 9VAC adapter, then go thru the IO-Board check if all voltage lines (12V, 6V, 5.33V, 5V) are there, then check all jumper cables and see if the voltages are making their way to the mainboard

if all of that is proper - continue with checking the audio path - starting from the VCO, then the filter, VCA, all the way to the volume pot and the output
