x0x196 complete but no sound

Post by ToFiC »

Hello, i've complete x0x196 but it makes no sound.

Everything seems to be OK about the sequencer section or mode selection (LEDS light how they should), i can hear the sound at the cutoff and resonance pots pins, but nothing on the volume pot pins.
I have the right values on D36 & D35, have change the BA6110 by another one, check everything but i still can't hear anything... :?

Q8, Q9 and Q10 are 733K which all have their beta over 400. Can it cause a trouble?

its possible that both of the 6110s you tried were bad
there is a good thread entitled
vca no sound
which goes over troubleshooting the vca

triple checking each part is always a good idea too

After debugging with Jonnay on IRC and testing x0x with my friend's µc it seems my ATMega162 is dead.

What should i do?

Is there somebody here living in France who could flash it for me?

Yes everything worked fine with the other microcontroler.
My microcontroler can't talk via usb, it begins but goes wrong a few seconds later(javrprog). Control app under windows can't see my x0x.
Ladyada told me send it back to her.
