Re: D-E03 Version
look at the sticky thread in the making x0x forum about substitutes, though they are likely to change the soundACrIkeD wrote:I am looking for Datasheets to BA6110 SIP-9.
So far I have been getting BA6110FS datasheets. However, it is ok, if BA6110 is rare but BA6110FS with same values is still mass produced I will use that in the Mod.
I am also looking for alternatives to replace the old transistors and J-Fets.

Re: D-E03 Version
Hmm. I might do a test kit version of this machine so I can test component variations.
For now I can say there will be switches to route alternatives.

Re: D-E03 Version
Questions about the Atmel.
Question1.
Atmel pins number 12 (PD2) and 12 (PD3) seem to be free and has no use so...
I was thinking if anyone could tell me if it is possible to use these 2 pins to control 7 segment display to show the
tempo in the memory.
For this I was thinking to use two of the 47HC595N to decode the number to ELT511GWA 7segment display.
Question2.
I also need one Pin for the " Clear Pattern " command.
Hopefully it is possible with the pin number 2 ( PB1 )

Re: D-E03 Version
it should be ok to use those pins
if you are going to use the shift registers
you will need another pin to latch the data

Re: D-E03 Version
I was thinking to use 12 to LATCH and 13 to shift data.
How many pins actually needed? 2 or more?
Maybe using BCD decoders
SN54/74LS48 could be other option,
however I still need the s-registers to give the correct code.

Re: D-E03 Version
you need three for the shift registers
data clock and latch
there is a third pin open
or you could piggyback off the current shift register latch

Re: D-E03 Version
I have also been thinking of adding three 7-segment displays for showing the tempo.
However, my plan was to use the tempo that gets spit out from the DIN sync port. It shouldn't be that hard to use a counter and a couple of LED drivers for that... but I haven't thought about it that much, I use a CR-8000 now slaved to them to show me the tempo.

The board layout should be finished, but I don't count on it yet. I have to be absolutely sure it is not blowing up fuses somwhere before I release it.
