Hi guys

i have 2 quetions :

1 : i want to insert a led so when i turn the x0x on the led will light on, and that make the LED brighter the higher the note playes..
2 : is there another power sourse to use instead j4 ? (to insert a overdrive / distortion)

This could be done in the microcontroller. I believe (but am not sure) that there are a couple of spare pins that could be used for this. Then its a matter of hacking the firmware to spit out a PWM signal proportional to the note being played and solid signal when the sequencer is stopped. Sokkan would be able to say 1) how much work this would be and 2) if there's room for the code for such a mod.

I would just take the signal from the CV-out jack(0-5V, proportional to what note is played), buffer it, and drive a LED with it. You might need some sort of bias or whatever, but it should not be that hard.
