more code space, way more pins. The firmware as it is pretty much uses up all the available space in the mega162

I guess i don't see a need for more code space? Better OS?

Probably not for me =o]

its for people who want to write new code
and eventually after that code is written
it will be for people who want to use that code

it also has more pins
so you can connect more stuff up to it
like extra mod knobs to the processor

well the main feature is more code space for bigger firmware
i don't know what the "more pins" can do but i got some ideas
if it's possible maybe the cutoff / reso / envmod / decay / accent pots can be hooked up to the CPU (via DACs i guess) and controlled from your DAW as MIDI CC
but i'm just talking nonsense ;]

I have my proto board programmed successfully via ISP (thnx guest). Unfortunately, I have a header on my board for the ribbon so might be a sec before I get the new board fitted and fully tested..

yeah its pretty tight above the cable
i didnt use headers

I had a similar question...

I hope nothing serious/fatal has happened.

Upgrade your x0xb0x with this plug and play

x0xb0x.hex firmware or the arduino variation.
Code your dream sequencer.

Someone should contact him there and find out what`s going on. An` put me on the list of people that want one:)

antto, did you get a price from him? it's not on the shop page.

more memory would help my dual sequencer idea become possible without any compromises
