I plan to add a db-25 connector to the back panel. which will interface with a CV input/output breakout box. I want pitch, volume and gate on individual CV outputs, and CV in for pitch, vol, filter cutoff... I will have to sit down and figure out what all parameters it makes sense to use, but the ultimade goal is a fully modular x0x, able to control or be controlled by any other analog 1V/8ve CV gear.
For example, I really want to play my Voyager via the x0x step sequencer, complete with slides and accents.
While I'm at it, might add filter audio input to the same breakout box... or maybe a pre-filter FX send/receive loop, that would be fun.
If it all works out, I'd be happy to build more of these things for other x0x'ers, or even original 303's I suppose...
too ambitious? surely not! Will it take a while? I have no doubt, especially with school resuming in a week. But never fear, it had been conceived and will come to fruition. The VX-303 will r00L teh w0RLd!!!
