220r, 200r is recommended but you could possibly also go as high as 270r

I assume higher value = more warble/crappiness in the sound as the power "sags" during high output.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, please...

has anyone added a pot to the outside to adjust "crappyness" and sag in the power supply?
I'd like to do this, so am looking for ideas how to do it (good places to drill/attach the parts, what parts to use, where to buy, etc...)...

any suggestions? anyone do it already?

maybe something like a 300k or 500k pot? maybe a trim pot mounted to the IO panel on the back...

sounds like a cool thing to try. i think you would want a 500 ohm pot max though, not 500 kilohm.
