i'm going to look into another alternative that might solve all problems with different mods, etc. let me look into a few things this week and get back to everyone on the forum.

I would also be interested in seeing a layout of the front panel graphics whenever you settle upon a design.

there is an overwhelming draw for the bcbox i/o mod... who of those that wanted that would like to see the full modded case??? if there are enough people interested i am going to go ahead and bug brian for the files for the control panel mod...

I'd especially be interested, if I could buy your case _instead_ of brian's panels (save some cash)... but yeah, bcbox front&i/o mods for me.

I too was intending to do the full bcbox mod, so I should probably go for the front as well...

Re: Aluminum Case for your x0xb0x .: Revisited :.
I would personally prefer only the x0xi0 rear mod or no mods at all so that I could just drill my own holes or epoxy on a different front or rear panel if I decide to install anything. I think the entire mod kit seems very interesting, but it is a good deal of money and one of the things that actually drew me to the x0xb0x was its rather straight forward simplicity, as well as the affordable price for a streamlined synthesizer.
I feel like you can always drill extra holes for any mods you may plan or ignore vacant holes on the backside, but filling or covering already existing holes on the front faceplate is not as simple. I may be in the minority though.

So, two weeks on, is there any clearer timeline for this thing?

Re: Aluminum Case for your x0xb0x .: Revisited :.
as of yet the time line is no where closer then where i started. i am getting a quote for the case with only the i/o mod since we have about 20+ or so people that would want that. i will post another quote once i have received it from the manufacturer.
also here is a design i made for one of my xoxbox's a while back... it would be similar to this but not exactly sure on logos and what have you, this is just to get a general idea. i figured some feedback from others might be cool to incorporate into it as well. so let me know...

Watch out. The white keys shouldn't swallow up the black keys like that on the top.

Is that a transparent overlay? I was thinking of doing something similar but I'm not sure if I can run transparencies through my laser printer.

BcBox I/O Mod x0xb0x case
------------------------------------------
1 color - x25 = $96.99 each
2 color - x25 = $105.00 each
------------------------------------------
Yes it is... I made it with clear vinyl and a BANNED feel laminate.
