lost connection to MIDIsense

Post by skelo »

Hi !
I updated the firmware.
since
The software indicates the following message :
"lost connection to MIDIsense"
Image
and the software indicate "V194.00" (it's strange !?)
I think that the update of the firmware broke the system.
Have you got an original version of the firmware?
I made an error !

my English is very poor! excuse me!

so long !

while the MIDIsense is on, run the software. upload this file
http://midisense.cvs.sourceforge.net/*c ... vision=1.3
then verify the file too
it should take a few minutes
then connect to the midisense and hit the "reset" button
if this still doesnt work, you can send it back to me and ill fix it

You are right. I am using an external USB Edirol SM-1SX midi interface, and Windows was using the General USB Audio driver.
When I moved to use the "EDIROL UM-1" driver, the "upload firmware" and the "verify firmware" where successful.
but... now, when trying to "connect to midi" I am getting "Failed to find any MIDIsense Boards".
* During this time, I see that midi out is being sent, but I see no indication of that in the MIDISense led red light.
* BTW, where is the "Reset" button?
