could we get midi cc numbers in midisense software, please?

Post by nym »

hello!

currently when assigning ccs to sensors in the midisense software it displays the general midi specified task typically assigned to X parameter

for example, cc= CUTOFF
unfortunately, a very important part is left out: the number

i know cutoff as CC74
and others as well

likewise, the midi cc specification many synthesizers gives only numbers as reference, which puts us out of luck for MIDISENSE>

please, please please, could this be addressed?

perfect! thanks a bunch
though this solves the immediate problem, i would enjoy having the numbers included in the drop-box for quick reference in the future.

what's the custom, here - do/can i make an edit to what you have linked me to, or at least one for my personal usage of the software? is this like a wiki? sorry, i'm not familiar with sourceforge and i'm very tired right now.

ON ANOTHER display note, i noticed that in the midisense software, when you specify "NOTE ON/OFF," a new entry box appears (for note number.) however, this new entry box crowds the CC box, and very little is visible. this is a tad inconvenient, but definitely not devastating as at least in my case i simply assign, callibrate, and then don't change the settings until i'm making a structural change in my prototype

CC numbers would be handy if you can fit them in.
