Re: Solar MintyBoost
Just out of curiousity, it *looks* like the charger module you have is *not* the version with the enhancements for charging from a solar cell -- is that correct?

Re: Solar MintyBoost
Before Jim deleted the project I got a look at it...it looks nearly exactly the same as mine. I can confirm the LiPoly charger isn't the new one optimized for solar. (That's my next purchase).

Re: Solar MintyBoost
You are correct AmateurX. I guess I too have to order the version for the solar cell and modify my project.
It's too bad because the holes in the tin came out perfect.

Re: Solar MintyBoost
I'd hardly say that you "have to" -- have you tested it? Does it work? If so, then it seems to me you're good to go! And if at some point in the future, you decide to either "upgrade" or give the current one to someone else and make a "new and improved" version, go for it! But don't buy into the "must have the latest & greatest" philosophy, at least not on my account. I only recently finished my first regular, old-fashioned MintyBoost. I look forward to someday implementing a solar one, but it can wait...
Cheers, and enjoy your lovely handiwork!!
