Looking to do a surface mount version of this with some modifications.

i did notice that you called out a 1N5817 in the schematic but the BOM calls out a 1N5818...?

...an either or situation...?

So I was wondering, where would I get the file of the design and layout if I wanted to etch a PCB for the MintyBoost v3.0?
Do I just look at the pictures and try to puzzle it out?

Just asking, what do the dotted lines represent? Sorry that this is such a newb question.

Also, what is the difference between the octagonal holes and the circular/oval holes?

you might want to look around for eagle tutorials and also go through the resources on their site / forums / etc - there are also videos too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG0O9LKH-_E

we couldn't possibly do beginner eagle / how-to / pcb making & learning support here in the forums, it's a little outside the boundaries of adafruit customer support forums for adafruit products

others may chime in though, feel free to keep posting!
