Wrigley's, the maker of Altoid Gums has discontinued this line of product some time early of this year. That's why it's nearly impossible to get these cans now. A quick search on Ebay reveals many of these gums for sale at some crazy prices as they are a rarity now. That's probably why Adafruit is looking to get these tins fabricated themselves.
