solar charger alternate connection?

hi all, sorry if this has been asked before, but i haven't seen it. also, I'm still somewhat new to these sort of things, so forgive my ignorance.

I've already bought the minty boost + the lipo charger and a 2700mah lipo battery, and going to get the 2w solar panel when i get the money. though, after reading the solar mintyboost tutorial, i wasn't satisfied with the replacement of the DC jack. i was wondering if the lipo charger would accept another input if it was connected via the through holes on the board.

if i were to attach the V+ to the hole colored blue and and the V- to one of the red holes, would it work without damaging the charger?
