MintyBoost v2 to v3

I have MintyBoost v2 but I have an iPhone 4 and I want to make it work. I've looked at the designs of both v2 and v3 and the difference is only a couple of resistors and a slight change in the traces. Now would it be possible to rig v2 to v3? I think I would have to scratch out one trace and line another one and get the two other resistors but would this look. I've done work with electronics before but not enough to make this decision. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks!

It is possible by cutting a few traces and some careful soldering. It is a small space to work in. If you haven't done this kind of soldering before, you might want to practice on an old junk circuit board first.

I'm sure I can handle the soldering part but just to double check...I will need to:

1. Kill the trace to the 3v battery.
2. Buy resistors R1-R4 (since R1 and R2 for v2 are different)
3. Run a trace from D+ to the side opposite of the two capacitors.
4. Disconnect D+ and D- traces from touching.
5 Solder in new resistors.
