Hand Crank battery charging Minty Boost?

Hey there. Just wondering about the possibility/feasibility of crossing a hand crank cell phone charger, a Minty Boost, and a hand crank double A battery charger. Basically, throw a crank on the Minty Boost and have a switch to charge the internal double A's, or switch over to throw entire charge to a phone.

What voltage comes out of the hand-crank generator? You don't want to put more than 5v into the MintyBoost. Also, many phones don't respond well to unsteady charge voltages.
