nexus 7

Post by bennettg »

I am a noob. I've tried to follow the technical info but it is difficult. Does anyone know if mintyboost will work with the Google Asus nexus 7 tablet? Maybe with a c or d size battery? I'd be willing to purchase one if available. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what the charging requirements are for the nexus 7. But most tablets need more than the 500mA the mintyboost can provide.

Thanks.

While I love open source I would appreciate any referrals to a commercial product that would work, so long as it uses batteries like mintyboost.

Thx

Most high-output portable chargers are based on lithium batteries to handle the capacity needed for charging these devices.
This one has a built-in LiPo battery and will provide 1A: https://www.adafruit.com/products/962
