Hi,
My MintyBoost works great with 2 AA but if I use a LiPo battery http://hackspark.fr/en/lithium-ion-poly ... m_store=fr the battery switch off by itself.
Is it due to overcurrent ? The voltage of the battery fully charged is 4.15V.
What should I do ?
discharge protection of LiPo

Re: discharge protection of LiPo
It looks like the Lipo battery you are using contains a protection circuit that protects it from over discharge. That is what you are seeing when it "shuts off". Lipo batteries from Adafruit contain the same protection circuit. When charging these cells it is important to use the proper charger. Adafruit also sells neat little chargers that do this.

Re: discharge protection of LiPo
I use a specific charger and my battery is full.
The protection circuit may be oversized, no ?
Maybe there is a too important call of current which activate the undervoltage part of the protection circuit.
How could I modify the mintyboost to make it works ?
Sorry for my bad english
