nano 2G

Post by Caleb »

can somebody confirm for me whether changing D5 to pull-up will in fact charge my nano 2G ipod? i am still having charging issues. the ipod will run off the MB fine, but doesn't seem to charge. the charging icon appears while the nano is on, but when i put the nano to sleep, the large charging icon does not appear as it usually does when it is being charged via AC. i've snipped D5, but the results seem to be the same, with little or no charge going into my ipod. i am using energizer lithium batteries. does that make a difference? i just don't want to go through the whole hassle of getting another resistor only to find that the results are the same. if the pull up/down tables on the website are correct, shouldn't i be achieving 250mA?
