Right voltage but the phone is discharging!

Post by momoelha »

Hi guys, when i connect the mintyboost with my phone it starts to discharge. Nothing is hot on the circuit and i get the right voltage, 5v, on my multimeter. What's wrong?

Does the voltage drop at all when you connect the phone?

What batteries are you using?
What phone do you have?
Post photos of the front & back of the board.

I'm using 2 rechargable batteries with 2100 mAh. My phone is an Huawei Ascend G615 which have an 2200 mAh battery. I'm sorry but now i can't do photos. My camera is broken.

Did you try shorting the two data pins together? Most current-generation phones work well in this configuration.

Yeah i tryed to short those 2 pins but it won't charge. But now something strange is happening! I made another board one and i cannot figure out why i get out 2v instead of 5v. Here's my circuit, i thought it was right.... Here's the circuit on eagle http://www.mediafire.com/view/67cmj6k80 ... _boost.brd
