SunnyBoost?
Hey I was wondering if it were possible to make a solar USB charger (altoids tin sized) similar to the MintyBoost! but without some of the exotic parts. Any help/advice is appreciated along with places to get parts. I'm a beginner to electronics so have patience and bear with me here =P

+ L7805 regulator should do it.... but that comes out to about $20ish....
I bought these cool little solar cells on eBay $0.99 for 3, each offers 1.7ish volts around 50mA, you could get enough to power an iPod for about $5, but I wasn't able to find them again, I should've bought more than three the first time around....
(Take all my advice with a grain of salt, I'm very new to this scene too...)
