Input = Output = ~2.5V

Post by xtowers »

My son and I just tried building 2 kits, and got these same result each time. Could we be making the same mistake(s) consistently, or unlucky enough with parts? How can I attach pics? Thanks for any insights.

My mistake - inadvertently measuring voltage in same place, so of course 2.5V=2.5V! But...where exactly on the board should output voltage be measured?

you can host images on imageshack.us or similar
it could be parts or soldering problems.

Ooh, you two posted right at the same time, the two outer pins on the USB connector should read ~5V. Either measure that on the underside of the board or actually inside the USB connector
