Well, i want to make a mintyboost unit, but i have some doubts about mi mp3/mp4 player, its a genius player MP-1801 1gb, what i dont know its that if the mintybost can charge it with the 5v default ( im not so good in this topic..) and also i dont know what are the specifications of the battery (there's nothing in the user manual..) only this

Items Specifications

TFT colored display 65K real colored display, Diagram (160*128)
Supportable file Music: MP3, WMA, DRM9 WMA, WAV
REC: WAV Picture: JPEG
Supportable video
format BANNED (Xivd) (should be converted)
SNR 85dB
Max. output power 10mW in left and right earphone
Storage media Embedded Flash, memory 2GB,
Power supply 3.7V polyether battery
Usable time of battery
Video play: 2.5~3 hours
MP3 play: 8 hours

Working temperature 5℃ to 40℃

So i would like to know if there's no problem using the mintybost with this player or if i have to make changes, thanks for the help ;)

Easiest thing to do is hook it up to your computer's usb port. Does it charge from usb or just sync/transfer? If it will charge there, minty will work.
