Complete Parts List For Mintyboost

Post by heisercs »

Hello every one. Seeing as my last problem was solved so easily once I asked the question I can only hope this one goes as well.

Now that my mintyboost works I would like to make another 5 or so. I plan on ordering the boards from www.adafruit.com but buying 5 kits would be sorta cost prohibitive.

I have found a list of parts at http://www.ladyada.net/make/x0xb0x/fab/parts.html but once again I am confused. This is a great list but not all of the parts are listed. The parts that are listed have links to mouser or a supplier but the link takes you to a page with say 3 or more parts that all have different statistics. I don’t want to order the wrong parts.

Unfortunately I am kind of like a trained monkey (with out the training) when it comes to this I can put it together just fine but do not understand what any of the numbers mean. For example the Inductor is missing from this list and when I look up a 22uH wire-wound inductor there are a bunch to choose from.

To make this long question even longer is there any one with a complete parts list and part numbers of the exact parts so I am sure I get the correct ones? Or a parts list with the full part specs for each part so I can find the right one? There are a lot of different % and stuff that I don’t understand.

Thanks for the help.

Did you mean this page, for the mintyboost part list? The one you linked is for the x0xb0x, a much more advanced project with somewhat rarer parts.
http://www.ladyada.net/make/mintyboost/parts.html

Strange, for me, all the Digikey and Mouser links take me to the part itself, no searching required. It looks like Mouser is out of the inductors, so if you go this route, you'll want to go with Digikey. (and you might want to hurry too, as Digikey is running low on the MAX764 chip)

The only parts missing from that list I linked are the two 100K ohm resistors for R4 and R5. Those can be found here:

Hope that helps.
